Before students take the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course, each student is required to complete  both the Precourse Self-Assessment AND the Pre-Course Work module. This helps evaluate knowledge necessary for the student to be successful in the ACLS Provider Course and determines the need for additional review and practice.

A minimum score of 84% must be achieved to pass the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment. There is no limit to the number of times the student can take the Precourse Self-Assessment.  This certificate must be presented to the ACLS Course Director before a student can take an ACLS Provider Course along with the Pre-Course Work Certificate of Completion.
